Founded by an experienced team of industry veterans, they're building complex, mission-critical systems that support national innovation, security, and long-term growth within Canada's rapidly expanding space sector.
We're looking for an IT Manager to join the team! This is a hands-on, foundational role responsible for designing, building, and managing the company's IT infrastructure from the ground up. Ideal candidates have strong infrastructure and systems administration experience, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and thrive in high-growth engineering environments where they'll help build the systems that enable the business to scale securely.
What you'll do:
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure multi-site network and server infrastructure across the organization
- Own cloud infrastructure, SaaS administration, identity and access management, and core IT systems
- Monitor network performance, respond to incidents, and ensure reliable uptime for engineering and business operations
- Partner with internal teams to support software, infrastructure, and technical requirements across the organization
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, including end-user support, hardware, device management, and troubleshooting
- Support cybersecurity initiatives by implementing security controls, access policies, documentation, and best practices
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering
- Experience designing and managing enterprise networks, servers, and cloud-based infrastructure
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, cybersecurity principles, and IT operations
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and independently manage technical environments
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms and integrating cloud and on-premise systems
- Comfortable building processes and infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting organizations in aerospace, manufacturing, defence, or other highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks or government security requirements
- Experience supporting engineering teams with specialized software and technical infrastructure
- Exposure to hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
