We are currently partnering with a growing professional services firm to recruit a Systems & Network Administrator. This is a key role focused on the operation, security, and continuous evolution of the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring reliable, high-performing services that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Administration
Install, configure, and administer Windows environments supporting business applications.
Ensure the stability, maintenance, and ongoing support of enterprise application platforms.
Network & Telecommunications
Manage, optimize, and enhance a multi-site network infrastructure.
Administer networking and security equipment, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and SD-WAN solutions.
Configure and maintain network components such as routing, VLANs, and network segmentation.
Deploy and support secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity solutions, including SSL VPN, IPsec, and Always On VPN.
Manage firewall policies and network security configurations.
Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and availability issues.
Ensure reliable communications across multiple locations while contributing to the continuous improvement of the network architecture.
Cloud Environment
Participate in modernization initiatives and cloud migration projects involving Microsoft Azure and SaaS solutions.
Administer and support hybrid environments combining on-premises infrastructure with cloud services.
Manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, and backup solutions.
Support the organization's ongoing transition from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based services.
Operations & Service Continuity
Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of critical IT infrastructure.
Participate in the implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
Collaborate closely with internal IT teams, including cybersecurity specialists, to ensure secure and reliable technology services.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8–10 years of experience in systems and infrastructure administration.
Strong background in enterprise networking.
Hands-on experience supporting hybrid environments and mission-critical infrastructures.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies and Microsoft Azure.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for administration and automation.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or equivalent.
Solid knowledge of enterprise networking and telecommunications technologies, including Cisco, Fortinet, or similar solutions.
Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach with strong analytical skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and accountable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
Nice to Have
Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305) or certifications in virtualization and/or networking.
Strong understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, routing, switching, and VPN technologies (IPsec / SSL).
