The Global IT Director is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development and management of the organization's global IT infrastructure and systems and Lead Digital Transformation. This role involves overseeing the implementation of technology solutions to support business objectives, ensuring data security and compliance and driving innovation to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage. The incumbent will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with organizational goals and deliver scalable and reliable IT services worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES

IT Strategy and Leadership

Develop and execute a global IT strategy aligned with overall business objectives

Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology investments and initiatives

Drive digital transformation across global operations, translate business needs into technology solutions

Manage global IT budget and capital planning

Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Global IT Operations Oversight

Oversee end-to-end IT operations across all global sites (infrastructure, applications, service delivery)

Ensure high system availability, performance and scalability and monitor IT KPI's

Cybersecurity and Compliance (Including TISAX)

Lead global cybersecurity strategy and risk management programs
-
Ensure compliance with: TISAX (VDA ISA) requirements, ISO 27001, NIST and applicable data privacy regulations
-
Oversee incident response, security monitoring and data protection protocols

Act as the primary liaison for customer (OEM) IT security requirements

Enterprise Systems and Digital Platforms:

Oversee implementation and optimization of: ERP, MES, HRIS (Dayforce) and other enterprise systems

Ensure integration and standardization across global platforms

Drive adoption of cloud solutions, automation and data analytics tools

IT Governance and Risk Management

Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies and procedures

Ensure readiness for: internal audits, external audits (customer, regulatory, TISAX)

Manage enterprise IT risk, including business continuity and disaster recovery
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent in experience

Masters Degree or MBA (or equivalent experience is preferred.

10+ years in IT leadership roles - Director/ Manager level

Proven experience supporting multi-site and/or multinational operations
