The Opportunity

We are changing healthcare and bringing a slow moving goliath of an industry into the present while blazing a trail into the future of radiology and clinical operations through software, automation and AI. We are looking for a Security Analyst to join our team! This is a hybrid role that will operate out of our Toronto Headquarters located at 5200 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information. Working in the Information Security and Technology team, this position requires an understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response methodologies, and general knowledge of enterprise information technologies. The Security Analyst will work to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, as well as contribute to the overall enhancement of our cybersecurity posture, and support of our technology systems. We're seeking an ambassador who thrives in a team dynamic, embraces challenges in a less structured environment, and is eager to help grow our security practice.

What You'll Do

  • Be the primary contact point for security and technology support in the Toronto office.
  • Monitor security alerts, investigate and analyze security incidents, employing a structured and methodical approach.
  • Support the company wide vulnerability management program by identifying and assessing vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Manage and configure Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, creating and refining rules for effective event detection.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness programs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns.
  • Manage anti-malware and policy enforcement software on end-user devices.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in new technology rollout projects and continuous improvement of security processes and procedures.

What You'll Bring

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an information security or technology role, preferably in a cloud based environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with SIEM tools, log management, and security incident response.
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence and its integration into security operations.
  • Ease in navigating a degree of ambiguity
  • Self-starter mentality that thrives in operating without the need for constant guidance
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate the startup environment with a proactive, collaborative mindset, avoiding silos.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The base salary offered for this position will range from $75,000 - 100,000 in local currency, depending on experience
