- 25% Develop/Enhance companywide Application security best practices and contribute to the tooling/processes.
- 25% Research information security improvements and brief management.
- 25% Remain up to date on Information Security vulnerability trends and emergent threats.
- 25% Assess, plan, and execute security measures in a layered approach to protect the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience (Preferred)
- 4+ years of prior relevant experience
- Advanced certifications such as SANS, CISSP or CISM and/or SIEM-specific training and certification
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions
- In-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering, and operations of at least one enterprise SIEM platform (ArcSight, Splunk)
