The Quantum Photonics Group at the Université de Moncton (the largest Francophone university in Canada outside Quebec), led by Dr. Lambert Giner, is looking for a motivated MSc student to join our group in September 2026.

THE PROJECT
We are developing new techniques to characterize quantum states without disturbing them — a fundamental challenge at the heart of modern quantum physics.

REQUIREMENTS
A BSc in physics is ideal, but applicants with backgrounds in mathematics or engineering are welcome if they have completed key courses: quantum mechanics, optics, electromagnetism, and experimental physics.
Strong assets:
✅ Hands-on experience in free-space or integrated optics
✅ Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or C#
✅ Good communication in English LANGUAGE This is a French-language program. Applicants must include a brief statement explaining how they meet this requirement.
