We are currently looking for an ambitious, driven and competitive Key Account Manager to take on a critical role in the continued development of our Generic Pharmaceutical business in Western Canada and beyond. Reporting to the Sales Director for Western Canada, you are responsible for promoting and selling JAMP Pharma Generic products to National and Western Region Corporate Accounts. The KAM will work closely with other departments internally in order to achieve the sales targets of the company.


Key Qualifications And Strengths

  • Generic pharmaceutical product/industry knowledge is preferred
  • Pre-existing relationships with all generic pharma purchasers/retailers in Western Canada a major asset.
  • Social IQ: strengths in developing and building significant relationships with customers and partners is essential.
  • Negotiation skills: ability to effectively negotiate on behalf of JAMP Pharma to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Business Development and entrepreneurial spirit: ability to identify opportunities to grow sales, propose a plan and execute it to expand market share.
  • Proven ability to build and deliver detailed proposals by utilizing available data, and deep customer knowledge, with a track record of winning new business as a result.
  • Strategic Thinking: ability to generate reports and translate data into actionable steps in order to drive more business into corporate accounts
  • Travel and work non traditional hours, including trade shows and/or corporate conferences and meetings.
  • Very strong presentation skills and expert level knowledge in Excel, and PowerPoint.

Key Functional Requirements

  • Regular travel throughout Western Canada and beyond will be required.
  • Frequent customer in-person meetings in all Western Provinces.
  • Frequent customer relationship building activities.
  • Attendance at all customer and industry events and conferences.
  • Deep analytical skills – comprehensive review of all reporting to identify and uncover opportunities as well as keep corporate customers well informed.


YOU MUST HAVE

  • University Degree in Business/Commerce or related preferred.
  • Experience in generic pharmaceutical sales or related industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years sales experience with proven track record of negotiation up to and including VP and C level decision makers, delivering strong results , organization skills, strength in execution of programs, initiatives, sales incentives.
  • Reside in the major urban area of Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary.
