QM’s four business lines include Demolition and Decommissioning, Hazardous Materials Abatement, Environmental Remediation including Civil Earthworks, and Emergency Management & Environmental Response Services.
We are seeking a dynamic individuals to join our team as a IT Analyst. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in providing IT support, helpdesk assistance, and basic troubleshooting for user PCs, networks, Office 365, servers, storage, and VMware environments. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced IT environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-level technical and network support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
2. Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and emails to resolve IT-related problems.
3. Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of user PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices.
4. Assist in the administration and support of Office 365 applications and services.
5. Troubleshoot network issues and provide support for connectivity problems.
6. Support server, storage, and VMware environments under the guidance of senior IT staff.
7. Collaborate with team members to implement and maintain IT security best practices.
8. Document IT processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.
Requirements:
1. Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
2. Experience: 1+ years of experience working in an Enterprise IT Environment.
3. Certification: One or more of the following certifications would be beneficial:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- VMware Certified Associate
4. Understanding of Enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications and services.
6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
