Role Overview
As a Security Analyst specializing in Security Awareness Training (SAT), you will be the driving force behind human risk management. Your goal is to transform complex cybersecurity concepts into engaging, impactful learning experiences that empower users and reduce organizational risk. You will act as both a technical guide and a creative educator for a diverse range of clients.
Main Responsibilities
- SAT Program Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of security awareness programs, including computer-based modules and simulated phishing campaigns.
- Client Onboarding & Strategy: Guide clients through the onboarding process, providing personalized walkthroughs and strategic roadmaps for platform utilization.
- Optimization & Risk Mitigation: Identify gaps in user knowledge; implement new platform features and tailored training topics to maximize risk reduction.
- Creative Content Creation: Develop engaging educational materials such as newsletters, social media content, and infographics to amplify training objectives.
- Behavioral Analysis: Monitor employee cybersecurity behaviors and provide actionable insights and recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate program effectiveness and adapt content to meet emerging threats, regulatory requirements, and client feedback.
Must Haves
- Platform Proficiency: Direct experience with at least one Security Awareness Platform (e.g., KnowBe4, Terranova, Proofpoint).
- Exceptional Communication: Ability to translate technical jargon into "fun" and digestible content for non-technical audiences.
- Analytical Mindset: Capability to analyze behavioral data and training metrics to drive program improvements.
- Technical Literacy: High proficiency with the M365 suite.
- Soft Skills: A "can-do" attitude, a bias for action, and a genuine enthusiasm for gamifying education (leaderboards, contests, etc.).
Nice to Haves
- KnowBe4 Experience: Specific expertise with the KnowBe4 platform is highly valued.
- Data Visualization: Experience with PowerBI to report on training efficacy.
- Multilingual: Fluency in French or Spanish to support international clientele.
- Certification: Formal Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or specialized SAT certs).
Compensation & Logistics
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
- Location: Bedford, NS.
- Work Model: Primarily Onsite
