Duties And Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager of Information Security, the Senior Security Analyst is responsible to manage information security technologies and focus on the ongoing management of several information security services integral to Lakeridge Health. The position involves the execution of day-to-day production operations of security strategies/technologies deployed across the Lakeridge Health IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 2 years' equivalent work experience.
  • One or more of the following certifications:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • GIAC Information Security Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator: Security
  • Associate of (ISC)2
  • Professional security designation such as CISSP, CISA, CISM or other is an asset
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certificate required
  • Experience in implementing ISO 27001:2013 and/or NIST 800-53 guidelines is a plus
  • Experience in designing and delivering employee security awareness training.
  • Experience in developing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • Working technical knowledge of Palo Alto, End-Point security and Microsoft System Center products.
  • Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft based applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products as required.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
