As a Network Administrator, you'll step into the realm of IT systems and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will revolve around configuring hardware and software components, providing support to end-users, and diligently monitoring system performance. Practical exposure to MS 365, user accounts, and policies will further enrich your skill set. With a diploma in information technology and foundational knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365, this role offers an invaluable opportunity for professional growth in the IT domain.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for corporate customers' networks and in-house servers, including configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and integration of new hardware and applications.
  • Monitor network performance, ensuring security, connectivity, and optimal performance, while identifying and addressing any weaknesses.
  • Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords, and resolve end-user reported issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and enforce network policies and procedures, and research and recommend system solutions to enhance network efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to specify system requirements and design effective network solutions.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a network administrator role with hands-on expertise in networking, routing, and switching.
  • Excellent knowledge of server infrastructure management, control, and monitoring best practices, with experience in firewall management, VPN implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to configure server hardware, familiarity with backup and recovery software, and strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ are advantageous.
