About the Role:
As the software lead of our Video team, you will spearhead the development of Video AI—a product tailored for videographers seeking cutting-edge enhancements like 4K Upscaling, Motion Deblur, and Frame Rate Enhancement driven by our AI engine. The software lead role involves comprehensive project management, leading the development of new features, shaping code and system architecture, overseeing weekly releases, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers. As a pivotal software engineer you will ensure the maintenance of our high standards of craftsmanship and feature delivery, always prioritizing customer needs.
About You:
- Over 5 years of professional development experience
- Proficiency in C++ & JavaScript, or another major programming language
- Expertise in modern, reactive UI frameworks
- Knowledgeable in application architecture, networking, databases, performance, and optimization
- Testing experience in unit, integration, UI, and/or acceptance tests
- Strong understanding of concurrency and multi-threading
- Proven leadership in deploying high-quality products
- Strong UX sensibility
- High aptitude for computer programming
- Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
Preferred:
- Exposure to image or video encoding/decoding and file formats
- Experience in developing native applications for Windows/MacOS
- Experience deploying ML models in production environments
- Background in applications involving video or live-streaming
