Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity/IT Project Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex Cybersecurity/IT projects, managing client relationships and will be responsible for planning the project, overseeing implementation, and providing regular updates to stakeholders. In addition, the project manager will be responsible for tracking all aspects of projects from project initiation to close out to ensure that the project is delivered on time within budget.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security operations, development, and business stakeholders, to ensure project success.
Identify and manage project risks and ensure that mitigation plans are in place. Responsible for the execution of mitigation plans
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Communicate project status and progress to senior management and stakeholders- both internally and externally
Mentor and lead project teams, including cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and consultants.
- QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
- Previous experience with Jira preferred
- Previous experience with Confluence preferredPMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are an asset.Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and regulations, including NIST, ISO, and PCI-DSS is an addition.Organized with attention to detail.Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, and software used in the organization and the industry.Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.
