Adecco is currently hiring a Cyber Security Solution Architect for a full-time, 2-year contract opportunity with our client. This role is ideal for an experienced cybersecurity and enterprise architecture professional with strong expertise in cloud security, risk assessment, and solution design within complex enterprise environments.
As a Cyber Security Solution Architect, you will be responsible for supporting the design and assessment of secure technology solutions, ensuring compliance with cyber security standards, and working closely with project teams to mitigate cyber risks. You will also contribute to the development of security architecture processes, standards, and tools while supporting enterprise-wide security initiatives.

Responsibilities

Participate in the delivery of security solution designs based on business, operational, technical, and security requirements

Assess technology solutions for compliance with Bank cyber security directives and standards
-
Work with project teams to identify and mitigate cyber risks
-
Apply threat modeling approaches to cyber security risk measurement and reporting
-
Research and monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to evaluate applicability and recommend improvements

Contribute to the development of Cyber Security Solution Architecture processes, AI tools, standards, and templates
-
Attend stakeholder meetings to communicate and socialize program objectives
-
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support evolving business needs
-
Support additional activities and deliverables as required
Requirements
-
University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

10+ years of experience in IT
-
5+ years of experience in solution architecture development
-
5+ years of experience in cyber security assessment programs
-
Experience developing and applying security policies and technical standards
-
Experience with architecture and design techniques (object-oriented, top-down, structured analysis, component-based design)

Strong knowledge of securing Microsoft Azure environments and AI tools (e.g., AI Foundry, Fabric, GitHub Copilot, Databricks)

Knowledge of Canadian Financial Market Infrastructures

Familiarity with cyber security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and ISO 27002

Experience working within enterprise architecture frameworks

Knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices

Ability to recommend threat detection tools for emerging AI-related risks

Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
