Fortress Cybersecurity and Consulting Inc. is a Vancouver based company looking to expand across Canada. This opportunity is a rare chance for successful candidates to gain a government-wide SECRET security clearance, and benefit from experience within Canada's national security apparatus. As such, candidates must be willing to undergo extensive background checks including fingerprinting and providing documentation of family, residence and verifiable work history when requested. This process will be sponsored by your employer, and if SECRET clearance is granted, will be valid for 10 years, enabling candidates to work freely in national security even after their time of employment with Fortress. If you are awarded a SECRET clearance, you will not be permitted to advertise this online in any capacity, and failure to protect Canada's vital information (deliberate or accidental) during employment or afterwards may result in criminal prosecution.
Be advised: Only Canadian citizens can qualify for SECRET clearance. Canadian citizenship is mandatory for the role.

- Mandatory: Experience with Tanium (has had access to the solution, who has or can do proofs of certain designs)
- Security Architecture, specifically when it comes to the adoption of SaaS Solutions
- Design plans
- Security Documentation
- ITSG-33
- Security awareness and monitoring
- Visibility assurance
- Multi-factor authentication is also ideal
About the Role:
- 37.5 hours/ work week
- Hybrid work (2 days in office, 3 days from home at worst)
- Requires relocation to Ottawa, Ontario
- Salary: $100k+
Employee will be asked to be on-site from time to time (not frequently).
The position is a contract role of indefinite duration.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
