This is with one of our Banking client.
We’re looking for a Senior Cyber Control Assurance Analyst to join a high-performing cybersecurity team. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, leading deep technical assessments across applications and infrastructure to ensure strong security controls and alignment with enterprise standards.
This is a hands-on + advisory role, ideal for someone who enjoys evaluating systems, influencing stakeholders, and driving security improvements across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth cyber and IT control assessments across application and infrastructure environments
- Lead security reviews, walkthroughs, and workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Evaluate logical access and security controls, identifying risks and gaps
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations to enhance security posture
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for cyber control assurance and security best practices
- Offer ad hoc security guidance to stakeholders on ongoing initiatives
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions and decision-making sessions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Information Security, Risk, or Control Assessment
- 3+ years working within financial services or consulting environments
- Strong knowledge of application and infrastructure security controls
- Hands-on experience with security assessments, reviews, or audits
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CCSP
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- 8–10 years of overall experience in Information Security
- Familiarity with frameworks such as:
- ISO 27002
- PCI DSS
- SWIFT CSP
- Understanding of compliance, audit, and privacy regulations
