Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal employees seeking technical assistance via in-person support, phone, email, or remote access tools.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to computer hardware, software applications, peripherals, and network connectivity on time.
- Configure, install, and maintain hardware and software systems, including operating system deployments, application installations, and routine upgrades.
- Set up, provision, and optimize employee workstations and peripherals to meet individual and departmental needs.
- Develop and implement automation scripts and AI-assisted workflows to streamline repetitive IT support tasks, reducing resolution times and improving team efficiency.
- Deliver basic computer and application training to employees, empowering them to resolve common issues independently.
- Identify recurring technical issues and proactively recommend or implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support tickets, resolutions, system configurations, and IT procedures.
- Uphold and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including user access management, endpoint security, and data protection protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage IT projects from scoping through delivery, maintaining clear communication throughout.
Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Adobe, VPN and similar enterprise applications.
- Strong working knowledge of major operating systems, including Windows Desktop, Windows Server, MacOS, and Linux.
- Solid understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware components, including motherboards, memory modules, processors, and storage systems.
- Experience developing or working with automation tools, scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash), or AI-driven support solutions.
- Solid understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, including phishing awareness, endpoint protection, access control, and incident response fundamentals.
- Highly organized, with the ability to independently manage competing priorities, short- and long-term goals, and project-based responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the patience and empathy required to support users of all technical backgrounds.
