Position Overview:
We invite an adept Security Analyst to be the vanguard of our organization's digital assets, spanning our information systems, networks, and servers. Embodying both foresight and prudence, this pivotal role entails forecasting potential threats, architecting security blueprints, and ensuring that our cyber-defenses echo the gold standards encapsulated by NIST and CIS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Oversight: Steer routine security assessments, audits, and vulnerability probes to ensure our defenses remain impervious.
- Policy Development: Sculpt, deploy, and sustain an overarching security framework underpinned by robust policies and procedures.
- Industry Expertise: Champion and inculcate the zenith of cybersecurity benchmarks, especially the NIST and CIS guidelines.
- Information Guard: Uphold the sanctity of our information systems against unsolicited breaches and potential compromise.
- Inter-departmental and Vendor Liaison: Seamlessly merge efforts with IT, external security partners, and operational units to crystallize a fortified digital ecosystem.
- Incident Management: Maintain an eagle-eyed vigil on potential security lapses, orchestrating rapid response and remediation strategies.
- Thought Leadership: Be the beacon of technical acumen for security-centric initiatives, guiding the organization through tumultuous cyber terrains.
- Security Advocacy: Orchestrate and roll out training initiatives, breeding a culture of security mindfulness.
- Industry Acumen: Stay abreast of the evolving cyber landscape, integrating industry best practices, emerging threats, and innovative defense strategies.
- Strategic Partnerships: Forge and nurture relationships with external cybersecurity maestros, leveraging their expertise as and when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in realms like Computer Science, Information Systems, or aligned disciplines.
- Acquired prowess through certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, SANS/GIAC, or equivalents is highly regarded.
- Seasoned with at least 5 years in the cybersecurity arena, imbibing the essence of frameworks such as NIST and CIS.
- Acute familiarity with the infrastructure matrix, encapsulating servers, networks, and corollary tech facets.
- Adeptness with security toolkits, ranging from software suites to intrusion countermeasures and firewall arsenals.
- Demonstrable prowess in risk diagnostics, vulnerability containment, and incident combat strategies.
- Innate analytical depth, complemented by a penchant for problem-solving and organizational excellence.
- A wordsmith, with sterling verbal and written communication capabilities.
- A background in bolstering security within the manufacturing sector would be an esteemed feather in the cap.
