Job Title: Data Security Analyst 1

Location: Austin, TX - This is a fully remote position

Duration: 12 Months Contract Role

Role Overview

As a Data Security Analyst 1, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data. This is a fully remote position, and candidates must be located within the State of Texas to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and operate data loss prevention tools, including incident response.

Utilize your knowledge and experience with Digital Guardian DLP.

Actively participate in incident response activities.

Be prepared for 24/7 on-call rotation as needed.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet or exceed the following minimum requirements:

Minimum Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in computer networking concepts, protocols, and network security methodologies.

Proficiency in cybersecurity and privacy principles.

Familiarity with systems administration concepts.

Understanding of critical infrastructure systems with information communication technology that may lack system security considerations.

Knowledge of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data security standards.

Familiarity with Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security standards.

Understanding of Personal Health Information (PHI) data security standards.

Knowledge of an organization's information classification program and procedures for information compromise.

Skilled in conducting test events.

Experience in systems integration testing.

Ability to write comprehensive test plans.

Proficiency in developing test plans to address specifications and requirements.

Capability to make recommendations based on test results.

Competency in determining scope, infrastructure, resources, and data sample size to ensure system requirements are adequately demonstrated.

Experience in testing, evaluating, and verifying hardware and/or software to determine compliance with defined specifications and requirements (preferred).
