Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Fredericton, NB, for an Account Manager specializing in Information Technology. The Account Manager will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, providing technical support, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseeing team performance to achieve project objectives and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for client accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Understand client business needs and align them with IT products and services
- Manage the full account lifecycle, from onboarding to renewal
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Coordinate with technical, support, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and contracts in collaboration with internal teams
- Track account performance, maintain accurate records, and report on KPIs
- Address client issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution
Qualifications
- Strong background in Information Technology, with knowledge of technical systems and infrastructure
- Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting, with the ability to resolve IT issues effectively and efficiently
- Proven ability in Team Leadership and Team Management, with a focus on collaboration and achieving goals
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in a dynamic, on-site environment while managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in client account management or sales support is beneficial
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with enterprise or B2B clients
- Familiarity with SaaS, cybersecurity, networking, or managed IT services
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
