About The Role
We're hiring a Senior Security Analyst to protect ThreatAware from the inside. You'll work across vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response — keeping our internal systems and cloud infrastructure secure. You report to the Head of Security and help maintain the security standards we hold ourselves to. If you want hands-on security work at a cybersecurity company that takes its own posture seriously, this is the role.
Why ThreatAware?
ThreatAware gives security teams a single source of truth for every device and tool in their organisation. 150+ integrations, deploys in under 30 minutes, real-time visibility across entire IT estates. Finance, legal, energy, healthcare — they trust us to show them what's protected and what isn't.
Now we're building something bigger. Six years of accurate cyber asset data, and we're layering AI on top of it — new ways for security teams to interrogate their data, automate workflows, and act on risk before it becomes a problem. You'll play a key part in keeping our security posture sharp as we scale.
What you'll do
Keep ThreatAware's internal security posture tight across systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Run vulnerability management across infrastructure, applications, and endpoints — assess, prioritise, remediate, and track.
- Design and maintain security monitoring and detection strategies using cloud-native tools and threat intelligence feeds.
- Support incident response: maintain playbooks, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive post-incident improvements.
- Secure and harden our cloud infrastructure (AWS), including IAM, networking, and containerised workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security thinking into how we build and deploy.
What we're looking for
- Significant hands-on experience in security operations, threat analysis, or vulnerability management.
- Strong cloud security knowledge (AWS, Azure, or equivalent) with experience across containerised applications and IAM frameworks.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, threat intelligence tools, and log analysis.
- Self-motivated and thorough — you can balance operational demands with longer-term security improvements.
- Excellent communicator. You can explain security concepts to both engineers and executives.
- A genuine passion for cybersecurity and a growth mindset — you thrive in a fast-moving company where priorities evolve.
