Security Analyst
Number of positions: 1 Job Location: Horne Payne Office

Annual salary: $ 87,700.00 - 110,900.00
What you'll do
This role in Security & Emergency Management (SEM) provides program and operational reporting, data and information
management, analytics, and process improvement.
Specific responsibilities in this role include:
- Identifies, evaluates and recommends opportunities for the continuous improvement of processes, procedures, controls,
decision-making, and reporting to management. Reviews source data and follows up with team to ensure integrity of data.
Highlights areas of concern or trends requiring further investigation by team and management.
- Identifies, analyzes, develops, prepares, and presents new and revised SEM processes, procedures, and related
documentation, including the preparation of process maps, charts and workflows for new and current processes. Monitors
adherence to new and revised processes and procedures.
- Manages, monitors, tracks trends and reports on findings to support ongoing improvements.
- Assists and/or coordinates implementation activities as directed by management.
- Gathers, reports, and summarizes data for security and compliance-related investigations, including adherence to privacy
policies.
- Conducts security related reviews on open-source platforms and identifies potential security-related risks, threats or
issues of note. Communicates information with security team members.
- Maintains user access and permissions within the SEM group to shared network drives, HydroShare or other controlled
files based on established business rules.
- Performs duties of a minor nature related to the above duties that do not affect the rating of the job.
What you bring
- University degree or experience in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain security clearance for a Security Sensitive Position classification.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant security, reliability compliance and/or audit experience in the electric utility industry.
- Ability to analyze, develop, and prepare new and revised processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Excellent relationship management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent data analysis and data visualization skills (Excel, Power BI and/or Tableau), SharePoint, and process
development using Visio.
- Experience working in a dynamic and reactive environment with the ability to juggle new priorities in with existing priorities
to ensure the most important compliance activities are delivered on time, including ability to delegate and attain assistance
from others.
- Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control Program would be valuable.
- Knowledge of procurement, invoicing processes and procedures and supply chain management system.
