Job Description
Role: Technology Architect - Senior
Location: 222 Jarvis 6 Floor, Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term
Employment : Contract
Rate: $Negotiable
Experience And Skill Set Requirements
Must haves:
- 10+ years of experience evaluating, analyzing, and developing data and voice networks in large scale (1,000+ site) networks.
- 10+ years of experience working for a telecommunications service’s provider in technical architecture and design authority.
- 5+ years of experience evaluating, analyzing, developing, and migrating SD-WAN networks in large scale (500+ site) networks.
Responsibilities:
This architect role will work in partnership with SD-WAN vendors to support design and deployment of a fully managed SD-WAN services through:
- SD-WAN technical design with vendor proposed solution.
- SD-WAN vendor management.
- SD-WAN pilot site implementation.
- SD-WAN site migration.
Experience And Skill Set Requirements
- Level of Data and Voice network Architecture expertise
Parameters:
- 10+ years of experience evaluating, analyzing and developing data and voice networks in large scale (1,000+ site) networks.
- 10+ years of experience working for a telecommunications services provider in technical architecture and design authority.
- 8+ years expertise in MPLS/BGP routing, QoS deployment to support multimedia networking, WiFi deployment at enterprise scale, Carrier Interconnect strategies and deployment. IP addressing and Autonomous System (AS) design and deployment.
- 5+ years experience in OPS architecture and GO-ITS standards.
- Level of SD-WAN network Architecture expertise
Parameters:
- 5+ years of experience evaluating, analyzing, developing and migrating SD-WAN networks in large scale (500+ site) networks.
- Demonstrated knowledge/certificates and experience with market leading SD-WAN product vendors.
- Demonstrated the in-depth knowledge of SD-WAN integration with legacy MPLS WAN, Cloud Security, LAN and Wireless LAN, Broadband Internet.
