Job DescriptionThe Security Analyst I will be a part of the IT security management team responsible for security monitoring activities, security incident investigations, and the installation and management of security tools. The IMS Security Analyst will also be a part of a division that runs a worldwide, networked enterprise, and we use a variety of tools, methods, and techniques to manage and monitor cybersecurity across Company's systems. What You Will Do: Use and interpret output from security protective devices within the ABS security architecture. Ensure security events are reported in a timely fashion. Assist in the review and evaluation of security alerts from Managed Security Service Providers and security tools. Participate in the collection, integration, correlation, and interpretation of logs and data streams from protective devices in support of security incident investigations. Install, support, and manage cybersecurity security tools, agents, and devices. Monitor the operation and availability status of security tools, agents, and devices. Contribute to the education and communication of security requirements, solutions and procedures to peers, user communities and support personnel. What You Will Need: Education and Experience High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or a related field in preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of previous related work experience in supporting or managing computer networks, endpoints, or information security technologies in an enterprise environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of computer networking, communication protocols, and networking devices. Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server operating systems commands, architecture, and security settings. Familiarity with Linux operating system commands. Dashboard scripting for security devices is highly desired. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment with little supervision. Ability to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, and related instructions, as well as the ABS Employee Safety Policy. It Would Be Nice If You Had: One or more industry recognized information technology or information security certifications like: Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), and/or Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA).
