The way we share ideas, learning, experiences, successes, and joy allows everyone to be their best at Ascendion.About the Role:Job Title: Software Architect IVKey Responsibilities:Support team implementation efforts toward successful project delivery.Maintain high software quality standards within the team by establishing good practices and habitsCollaborate with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, document, and maintain web-based business applications.Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.Package and support deployment of releases, including CI automation workflows.Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.Assess application and process improvement opportunities and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.Responsible for compliance with company engineering standards, policies, and procedures.Maintain good relations with peers, team, other organizations, and vendors.Perform other duties as requested.Minimum Qualifications:6+ years of professional Android development experience & deep knowledge of Android architecture.Experience with Android Studio and Android SDK tools.Strong software engineering experience in Java/Kotlin, with high proficiency in object-oriented design principles and functional programming.Expert knowledge of developing, testing, and debugging mobile applications using Android/Kotlin/Java.Experience with Kotlin Coroutines.General understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.Basic experience with the AWS platform.Experience with automated testing.Experience working on large scale mobile projects leveraging rigid and complex architectural patterns.Desired Qualifications:Strong experience with AWS InfrastructureExperience with Gitlab CI/CDLocation: Greenwood Village, COSalary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $135,000 annually.
