Strategic Account Executive - Cybersecurity
My client is a global cybertechnology company that partners with many organizations within all industries to combat cyber-attacks. They are seeking to hire an Strategic Account Executive responsible for maintaining and growing assigned relationships while also promoting growth of product/solutions within existing strategic accounts. The role will be to work closely with clients on an ongoing basis to ensure client satisfaction, ensure renewal and identify new business and upsell opportunities.
Hybrid role: 1-2 days/week in office required (if near a local office).
Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed sales and renewal goals/quotas
- Manage and nurture assigned sales accounts
- New Business development (develop new clients and relationships)
- Identify business opportunities within current client base; upsell
- Manage renewal and upsell sales process
- Maintain client satisfaction and manage any issues/concerns, ensuring resolutions
- Establish and maintain existing client relationships that ensure retention and increase business
- Become the trusted advisor to new customers as well as suggest new products/solutions to existing customers
- Articulate the value proposition of solutions and products
- Keep well-informed of industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Min. 5-10 years of Sales and/or Strategic Account Management experience preferably within software and/or technology solutions
- Min. 5-10 years’ experience in Major Accounts
- Min. 3+ years’ Sales experience selling and closing complex, enterprise deals and presenting strategic solutions to C-Level (quotas of $3-5M+)
- Fortune 500 client experience
- Experience within security/cybersecurity industry required
- Documented Sales Success of meeting/exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
- Ability to travel to clients as needed
Offering:
- Base Salary $165,000 - $175,000 (based on experience)
- Year 1 @ plan $330,000 - $350,000
- Uncapped Commissions
