Security Operations Analyst - Customer Trust
The Okta Security team’s mission is to strengthen Okta’s position as the leading Identity-as-a-Service solution by identifying and resolving risks to the employees, product, and most importantly, our customers.
The Customer Trust team works to enhance customer trust in the identity products our teams build. We serve as a strategic resource working closely with Okta’s GTM teams. The Customer Trust team provides comprehensive security information to our customers so they can effectively manage their risk. With the ever-increasing pace of cloud application adoption, companies are struggling to find ways to accurately assess risk and act at the speed of their business. As a Security Operations Analyst for the Okta Customer Identity Cloud - Customer Trust team, you will work to enable Okta to efficiently respond to customer security questions and maintain questionnaires in Third-Party portals. As you grow into the role, you will be encouraged and have the opportunity to drive changes and help the team scale their support efforts globally.
This position requires a unique set of skills including project management, the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers, and ensure business needs are prioritized appropriately. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Customer Trust to triage requests for:
- Completing customer security questionnaires
- Find appropriate responses to customer questions
- Maintain Okta’s CIC’s RFP response database
- Assist in developing and maintaining standardized security documentation
- Assist in maintaining and completion of third party industry standard questionnaires (SIG, CAIQ, VSA, CyberGRX)
- Conduct customer meetings in order to provide security and compliance subject matter expertise
- Perform other IT security and compliance related tasks as assigned
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Business or technical degree (BS), or equivalent experience
- 2 years project management or equivalent experience in technology or information security fields
- Passionate about process improvement
- Self-starter
Helpful Certifications / Skills:
- Working towards or holding Information Security related certifications
- Technical knowledge
- Third-party Risk Management experience

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$106,000—$143,000 USD
The OTE range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$117,000—$158,000 USD
