The Associate Security Analyst is an entry-level position that supports the operation and maintenance of network security hardware and software to ensure the confidential, integrity, and availability of Patterson’s information assets and systems. The role will primarily be involved in daily security tasks, technical support, and ticket and incident management.

- Understands computer and network technologies to help troubleshoot
- Ability to help support and act on alerts, service requests, and incidents
- Helps analyze and monitor systems and applications for security related issues
- Knowledge in key cybersecurity concepts and terminology
- Proficient in working in a team environment and take direction to complete tasks
- Ability to rotate between security teams such as Security Operations, Application Security, and Identity & Access Management
Job Qualifications
- Recent college graduate with an emphasis in Information Security, Technology, or Computer Engineering
- Completion or in pursuit of a Security industry certification such as Microsoft Azure, Security+, SSCP
- Strong online research skills and proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating system
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accuracy with grammar and spelling
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Strong communication, problem solving, collaboration, and analytical skills
- Ambition to learn and share ideas openly
