Our client, an American Healthcare company that has one of the largest clinical laboratory networks in the world, is looking for a BigID Data Protection Specialist.
This is a 100% Remote Position.
We are expanding and growing this team. This position is responsible for the protection of their sensitive data through monitoring, configuration, investigation, and response. A specialist in this position will be responsible for creating, testing, and implementing data discover and governance and protection strategies and policies. The specialist will be responsible for data discovery and classification software deployment and remediation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serves as the primary contact and liaison for all data protection related matters; coordinating with applicable government authorities when compelled by applicable protection regulations.
- *Must have working knowledge of BigID* (be able to maintain, use, and implement the BigID data governance and protection tool)
- Implements and maintains a privacy governance framework to manage data use in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including developing policies, standards and templates for data collection, and assists with data mapping, and vendor management reviews.
- Works with key internal stakeholders in the review of projects, related data, and agreements to ensure compliance with local data privacy laws, and where necessary, complete and advise on privacy impact assessments.
