We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated API and Snowflake Lead with at least 15 years of professional experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge API and Snowflake-based solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API design and development, as well as deep knowledge of the Snowflake Data Cloud platform. This individual should have exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Typical task breakdown:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable API and Snowflake solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Architect, design, and develop complex data integrations and ETL processes using Snowflake, API-based technologies, and other relevant tools
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Establish best practices and standards for API and Snowflake development, ensuring consistent and high-quality deliverables
- Conduct code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimal performance
- Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, data quality issues, and other potential areas of improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Snowflake features, API technologies, and industry trends, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within the team
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation efforts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions

- Team of 3-4 people; but this particular project ,
Work environment:
- they will be a hybrid position, working with 2 managers.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master''s degree is preferred
- At least 15 years of professional experience, with a focus on API design and development, and extensive knowledge of the Snowflake Data Cloud platform
Technical Skills
- Proven experience in leading large-scale API and Snowflake implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of API technologies, such as REST, GraphQL, or gRPC
- Experience with ETL and data integration tools, such as Talend, Informatica, or Matillion
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality concepts
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their respective services
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
