DESCRIPTION:
Robert Half is hiring now for a results-oriented and accomplished Network Administrator to fulfill a role for our Client. The successful candidate will oversee setting up, organizing, and maintaining every network component. Hardware and software configurations are made by network administrators to maintain and enhance the performance of the network and IT systems. You will be in charge of making sure that every computer, server, printer, and other connected system in a particular network is able to successfully communicate with the necessary resources. You will utilize your top-notch technical skills to fix various WAN/LAN/systems connectivity issues, provide network and system assistance and troubleshoot, help different departments maintain network security, set up remote routers and firewalls, and offer technical support. You will conduct analyses and make recommendations for solutions; upgrade services to simplify processes; and suggest enhancements. You will also manage IP address allocation programs, create network resources, and educate support staff to offer Tier I support to end customers. You will work together with diverse teams to plan for disaster recovery, backup the network, and track the recovery process. Our Client is based in Edmonton, AB.

Requirements
MUST HAVES:
- 3+ years of experience in information technology.
- 1+ years of full-time experience in information security.
- Experience with vulnerability testing; the capacity to prioritize many work activities; initiative to finish tasks. strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Information systems bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
- Administration of networks and telecommunications (CCNA, CCNP, WCNA, SANS, CISSP, CISM)
- Management of firewalls (NSE4, NSE7, Cisco, Dell, SonicWALL)
- Management of IT systems (Microsoft, VMware, Aspect)
