Sales Manager - Cybersecurity
My client is a global cybertechnology company that partners with many organizations within all industries to combat cyber-attacks. They are seeking to hire a Sales Manager responsible for managing, developing and overall productivity and effectiveness of a sales team. Responsible for assisting with the forecasting and execution of sales plans. The Sales Manager will direct and support the consistent implementation of key initiatives to secure business development opportunities, increase revenue and promote growth.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, lead and develop a sales team, motivate to generate revenue and meet objectives
- Create and ensure execution of sales plans/forecasts
- Support team in client presentations/meetings and negotiations when needed
- Evaluate objectives, sales performance and provide feedback, training/coaching
- Review weekly forecasts and progress with each sales rep
- Manage team sales productivity, sales pipelines in anticipation of meeting/exceeding sales goals/quotas
- Develop programs to achieve targeted goals as a team and individual reps
- Continuous improvement; make recommendations and implement processes that will improve team efficiency
- Keep well-informed of industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Min. 1-2+ years of Sales Management experience within enterprise software environment
- Min. 3-4+ years of Software Sales experience
- Experience hiring, leading and developing a sales team
- Documented Sales Success of meeting/exceeding sales goals
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM
- Ability to travel as needed
Offering:
- Base Salary $120,000
- Year 1 @ plan up to $300,000
