The Role:
Representing one of Canada’s most trusted technology solutions providers, you will create meaningful business outcomes for clients while driving strategic growth for DirectDial.
As an Account Development Manager (ADM) your primary responsibility will be the development of new accounts to build qualified pipeline. You will create opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and targeted outbound activities to progress deals through the sales process from discovery to delivery.
This is a consultative, solution-led sales role combining commercial savvy with technical literacy. You will work closely with our Managed & Professional Services team and industry partners to bring a complete information technology portfolio to your clients.
Your achievements will be evaluated based on new clients established, the development of a verified procurement and services pipeline, and your ability to reach revenue and gross profit targets.
What You will Do
- Execute outbound sales strategies to drive Client Acquisition across Canadian corporate IT environments.
- Through discovery and assessment conversations, build a strong pipeline of qualified procurement and services opportunities.
- Utilize consultative & solution selling to build lasting relationships and guide customers through the buying journey.
- Support AI-enabled and digital transformation initiatives using industry-leading technologies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and industry partners to ensure seamless solution delivery, strengthening long-term client success and loyalty.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong focus on new business development.
- Proven success in prospecting, cold calling, acquiring, developing and maintaining new Client accounts.
- In-depth familiarity with leading CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of key Information Technology solutions by category including Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity & Data Protection, Networking & Storage Infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of key technology vendors, including Microsoft, Cisco, Lenovo, Apple, Dell, HP, Fortinet, and competitive equivalents.
- History of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growth objectives
- Understanding of solution selling and value-based sales approaches
- High commitment to customer service and relationship building.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $60,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
