HuntSource is looking for a strong Office 365 Security Analyst to take on a key role with a client partner looking to raise the bar across its security and information technology organizations. This person will really own the O365 Ecosystem as a representative on the Security team, partnering with infrastructure and ensuring the company is well positioned in terms of enterprise-class security.
We need someone with expertise across the entire O365 ecosystem, strong familiarity with all portals below.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis, configuration, and implementation of security best practices and hardening within O365 admin portal
- Implement, configure / security hardening, and manage Portals for:
- Azure AD and Azure AD Identity Protection
- O365 Security and Compliance Portals
- Azure PIM (Privileged Identity Management)
- Security optimization of O365 Intune portal, including security baselines
- Perform Security Hardening for:
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint & OneDrive
- Create automation through various security systems from an alerting and playbook standpoint as Office 365 ecosystem is concerned; strong experience with Power Automate and/or PowerShell is a plus!
- Lead and engage in Incident Response, driving to incident closure and recommending best practices to prevent future occurrence as needed
- Asist with deployment of security best practices
- Complete vendor security reviews
- Engage stakeholders on new projects from a security perspective (such as deployment of a new product, new server builds, etc.) as they touch the Office 365 ecosystem
- Keep up to date on security related events and taking appropriate measures
QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Intune, Security & Compliance, SharePoint, PIM & IAM, and all O365 portals
- Experience with Power Automate and Power BI
- Self-motivated and able to work without high levels of supervision – needs a self-starter!
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to notice patterns within data
Bonus Points:
- Relevant Certifications: Azure (AZ900, AZ500, etc., Administrator, Security, Fundamentals, Architect), MCE, MCSE, Security+, SSCP, and other security training/certs
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology is a plus but not required!
- Experience working in wholesale and manufacturing environments at an Enterprise IT level
