The IT Manager will provide leadership and direction to the IT team under the guiding principles of the objectives and goals of the Department, while remaining actively involved in hands-on technical work and day-to-day IT operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee daily IT operations, including network, servers, software and hardware;
- Ensure security, accuracy and integrity of data, network access and backup systems;
- Work with all departments to ensure they have the IT systems, software and tools necessary for them to meet their departmental objectives and Company-wide goals;
- Monitor network and computer systems for optimal performance;
- Analyzes, plans, designs, maintains and installs new systems to include – determine user specifications for hardware and software;
- Provide oversight and governance for the adoption, use, and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies, ensuring they align with business objectives, comply with security, privacy, and ethical standards, and are implemented responsibly across the organization;
- Manage IT ticketing system and day-to-day hardware and software problems to ensure a timely response;
- Maintain and monitor software licenses and renewals to ensure compliance and continuity of service;
- Manage computer hardware fixed asset inventory, including lifecycle management, tracking, and replacement planning;
- Manages Network Infrastructure;
- Ensure the security of company systems and data by implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures, managing access controls, overseeing incident response, and promoting staff awareness to protect against evolving threats;
- Lead and organize major IT projects including new software, system updates, upgrades, infrastructure projects, migrations and outages while coordinating and communicating with all departments;
- Manage IT department expenditures, including asset management, while maintaining effective cost control and cost management;
- Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery.

What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT management or senior IT leadership roles;
- Proven success leading IT projects, infrastructure modernization, vendor relationships, and technology roadmaps;
- Strong hands-on knowledge of networking, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity tools, enterprise applications, and emerging technologies, including AI;
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Practical expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning;
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop IT teams while remaining technically engaged;
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in complex IT environments;
- Ability to align IT strategy with business objectives and anticipate future technology needs;
- Experience governing AI and digital tools with attention to security, privacy, and ethical use;
- Strong project management capabilities, delivering system implementations, upgrades, and migrations on time and within budget;
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities;
