Stage 2 Security (S2) is seeking an experienced
Cybersecurity Account Executive located on the East Coast of the United States.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect for potential customers – however you do it is up to you, as long as your actions generate activity that leads to pipeline – cold calls, emails, or carrier pigeon, the choice is yours. No waiting around for leads. Have a plan for who you are going to talk to on Day 0.
- Take a lead from curious to customer, managing each phase of the sales cycle.
- Perform each quarter to the established sales revenue and gross profit targets.
- Work with teams to develop proposals and responses to customer request and present the final result to the client. You help guide the document, so the team can focus on what you have uncovered as most critical for winning the opportunity.
- Maintain and clean and focused forecast – no fluff here! That means you can clearly answer questions about budget, authority, need, timing, and affinity.
- Builds out close paths with clients to clearly identify all the steps necessary to go from handshake to contract.
- Keep a pulse on what your customers are buying, what they are interested in, and what is important in there business.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Outside Sales Representative selling Managed Security Services, SaaS solutions with a service component, or complex multi year service contracts.
- Know the language – incidents, escalation, MTTR, MTTD, SOC, Responders, and all the other fun words that describe security operations. If all of that read like Greek, this is not the opportunity for you.
- Travel. Yes, the world is open and your customers want to see you. This can include meetings, trade shows, marketing events, or other activities to support your business. A few days each month, with a few week trips each year is normal.
