Technical Analyst – UNIX/Active Directory/Windows:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Technical Analyst – UNIX/Active Directory/Windows for a 5-6 month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Technical Analyst – UNIX/Active Directory/Windows - Job Description:
The project involves a comprehensive review and challenge of root access entitlements to UNIX servers. The ideal candidate will work within the identity access management domain to ensure compliance and risk management across UNIX, Active Directory, and Windows environments.

Technical Analyst – UNIX/Active Directory/Windows - Responsibilities:

Conduct meetings with stakeholders to discuss access needs, risks, and exceptions
Review requests for privileged access across UNIX, Active Directory, and Windows environments
Prioritize tasks including remediation efforts, guideline drafting, or urgent escalations
Assess the UNIX landscape to identify misaligned sudo rules and excessive access
Set up or refine UNIX sudo council configurations
Analyze privilege access models to ensure compliance with governance standards
Document findings from assessments, highlighting risks and remediation paths

Technical Analyst – UNIX/Active Directory/Windows - Mandatory Skills:

9+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX, Active Directory, and Windows privilege models
7+ years of practical experience in the identity access management domain
Proven ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
5+ years of cybersecurity auditing experience focused on compliance and risk assessment

Technical Analyst – UNIX/Active Directory/Windows – Nice-to-Have Skills:

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Shell, Java, Python
Spanish language skills

Technical Analyst – UNIX/Active Directory/Windows – Assignment Length:
This is a 5-6 month contract with the possibility of extension.
