We are seeking an IAM Lead to support the IAM readiness work for the provincial CIS (Clinical Information System) initiative. The IAM Lead will work closely with SNB’s enterprise IAM teams, CIS vendor teams, cybersecurity, HR, clinical leadership, and operational teams . Some activities will be driven directly within the project team, while others will require collaboration with groups that own specific IAM processes or technologies.
- Conduct a detailed review of current identity sources, authentication mechanisms, access workflows, and role structures across partner organizations

Identify gaps between existing IAM capabilities and what is required for a successful CIS implementation

Develop plans and roadmaps to address identified gaps, sequencing work across project, vendor, and organizational teams

Facilitate alignment between clinical, technical, operational, and security stakeholders to support decision-making and expectation-setting

Support the development and validation of the CIS role and access model, ensuring it aligns with IAM standards, clinical workflows, and organizational policies

Coordinate IAM-related integrations such as directory services, HR systems, identity sources, and provisioning processes

Provide change support by preparing teams for new or revised IAM processes including onboarding, access request workflows, and support models

Track progress, identify risks, support issue resolution, and monitor IAM readiness throughout the CIS deployment lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Minimum 5 years of experience leading or coordinating IAM-related work in a large organization, including current-state assessments, gap analysis, and planning for major system implementations

Minimum 3 years of experience applying IAM principles within a hospital or clinical environment, with understanding of clinical workflows and safety impacts

Minimum 5 years of experience leading project teams or workstreams with responsibility for timelines, deliverables, staffing, risks, and reporting

Minimum 3 years demonstrating understanding of how IAM affects patient care, clinical efficiency, and change management within clinically led transformations

Minimum 5 years of experience working directly with enterprise IAM or identity governance specialists (directory services, identity lifecycle, authentication, access governance) to align project needs with organizational IAM capabilities
