About This Location:
Our Home Office is located in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. You are required to attend the office three (3) days per week or more, based on operational needs. Effective March 2026, you are required to attend the office five (5) days per week.

About This Role
The IT Security Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding the organization’s information systems by supporting daily security monitoring and incident response activities. This position focuses on reviewing and responding to security alerts generated by security monitoring tools, coordinating with the Service Desk and other IT teams to investigate, document, and resolve potential threats, vulnerabilities, or security events. This role operates within an enterprise IT environment with exposure to a wide range of security tools and monitoring applications and may require periodic after-hours response to urgent alerts or incidents.
Key Qualifications And Demonstrated Abilities
- +4 years of working experience in information security, security operations, or related security support roles.
- Familiarity with SIEM solutions, DLP, application security, endpoint detection tools, email security gateways, and identity protection technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with IT and Service Desk teams.
- Foundational knowledge of cyber security standards, framework, and best practices, including PCI DSS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CC Certified in Cybersecurity (ISC2),CISA,CompTIA Security+ or similar are an asset.
- A post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, information technology, or a similar discipline is required.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and optimize configurations of security platforms including SIEM, Endpoint protection, Email protection, ITDR, vulnerability management, and security training for potential threats or suspicious activity
- Review, investigate, and triage security events and vulnerabilities across multiple platforms.
- Create, update, and route incident or investigation tickets in collaboration with the Service Desk team.
- Support continuous improvement of alert handling procedures and workflows to enhance response efficiency.
- Maintain awareness of organizational security policies, standards, and incident response procedures.
- Participate in internal and external security audits as required.
- Contribute to regular status meetings and security reporting metrics.
