Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager (Lead) to oversee the sales team and ensure achievement of organizational revenue targets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong existing book of business, proven leadership capability, and deep knowledge of enterprise technology solutions. This role requires someone who can both generate business individually and guide the sales team towards consistent performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Leverage your own book of business to bring immediate revenue opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand Client's presence in the Canadian market.
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, solution pitches, and contract negotiations.
- Drive pipeline development and maintain accurate forecasting in CRM systems.
- Work closely with delivery, technical, and marketing teams for solution alignment and deal support.
- Maintain strong industry relationships and build long-term customer partnerships.
- Provide guidance to the team on solution positioning, pricing, and competitive differentiation.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years in IT sales (VARs/SI/MSP), technology solutions, or software/services selling.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing a pipeline effectively.
- Must have an existing book of business with strong enterprise relationships.
- Experience leading, coaching, or supporting a sales team.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Expertise in CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Technical Product Knowledge (Required)
Candidate must have strong understanding of the following technology vendors and their solutions:
- Cisco (Networking, security, collaboration products)
- Palo Alto Networks (Next-gen firewalls, security platforms)
- HPE (Servers, storage, networking solutions)
- Oracle (Cloud, databases, enterprise applications)
- McAfee (Cybersecurity, endpoint protection solutions)
This level of product knowledge is essential for effective solution selling and advising clients on the right technologies.

Compensation 80-90K Base (negociable) + Commission (OTE)
