Position Summary
The Security Analyst is focused on maintaining and improving Technical Risk Underwriter’s Security Initiatives with minimal supervision. The specialist will also need to communicate regularly to the loss control and underwriting staff, as well as to brokers, their clients, and security vendors, regarding these various initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Gathers executed security contracts, and their designs, for newly bound policies
- Fields questions regarding security standards and programs; whether it comes from Loss Control, Underwriters, brokers, or clients
- Ensures TRU personnel have accessibility to all camera systems providing surveillance to bound accounts
- Manages security regimes as projects near completion and require modifications to original security measures.
- Coordinates any security compliance measures between security vendors and/or insureds
- Performs Security Assessments to determine adequacy of a vendor and/or their security proposal; whether it is a case-by-case assessment or an assessment to become an approved vendor
- Conducts periodic audits of approved vendors to ensure compliance with the TRU Surveillance Standards
- Aids in processing builder’s risk submissions
- Other relevant duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills
- A combination of a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) and at least five (5) years of experience related to Security; military, personal (VIP) security, or law enforcement background preferred.
- Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
- Critical attention to details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Proven track record of being a team player.
- May be required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Will require, at times, to travel; should not be more than a few days to a week per month.
