Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Cyber Security Solution Analyst to fulfill a temporary/contract role for our Calgary Client. As the successful candidate for the position, you will be responsible for providing cyber security solutions for reducing risk to the organization. If you possess excellent experience in Networking concepts and monitoring along with a “self-starter” attitude with an analytical mind and are looking to progress your career this could be the role for you! This position is based in Calgary, AB., but is open to remote working concessions for eligible candidates.

Requirements
MUST HAVES:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar Cyber Security Analyst role with proven working experience in Networking concepts and Network monitoring
- Working proficiency in reviewing and identifying high-risk network traffic protocols and IT practices to exclude from policy creation
- Hands-on experience in writing and enforcing micro segmentation policies based on reviewed traffic flows in collaboration with various application teams
- In depth experience in troubleshooting application network connectivity issues
- Strong working experience with Illumio Core* or other network micro segmentation products
- Solid working ability with InfoBlox to assist with determining asset information
- Excellent knowledge and experience with ServiceNow for ticketing change management and determining asset information
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and a clear ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels to develop solutions
- Strong business intelligence along with solid problem-solving skills
- Flexible work aptitude open to researching, learning, and utilizing technologies and tools available
- Analytical thinker who is passionate, creative, and driven to succeed
- Strong attention to detail with importance on high quality standards
- Post-Secondary Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
