Description/Comment:
This Security Engineer, IAM role will be responsible for strategy & engineering support of the entire Identity Management Domain, with a focus on workforce Identity. In this role, they will provide architecture guidance, design and implementation consultation as well as security controls and policy criteria and support. Key areas of focus will include Authentication & Authorization, Federation, Privileged Access Management, provisioning & governance of identity and identity data. They will also be responsible for participating in cross organizational and department interactions on engineering and architecture use cases for services and technologies. This role will also be directly responsible for engaging and partnering with multiple groups across client to advance the Identity Protection strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner and support the practice around Identity security engineering, and a strategy to achieve it.
- Engage in BUs in engineering design, strategy, and reviews of both technical and process design and implementations
- Drive policy definitions and enhancements, as well as risk identification and remediation direction for identified identity security gaps
- Support direction of the company wide strategy with a security focus that aligns to the identity business and technical strategy as well as adapts to growing industry changes
- Provide subject matter expertise and consultative services across the technology and business environments in the practices and design requirements around IAM
- Provide technical support to the broader Identity engineering teams
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in technology organizations with demonstrable experience in delivering projects and other initiatives
- Minimum 2 years in an Identity Management oriented area of expertise
- Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience with technical reporting and analytics.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience performing complex data analysis
- Knowledge in security or Identity related areas.
- Understanding of data management & database structures
- Ability to understand and write complex MS SQL queries
- In Depth knowledge of multiple SIEM technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BI Tools such as Tableau
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk and New Relic.
- Knowledge of AWS and GCP.
- CISSP, ITIL
