Role Overview
The IT Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading the sales strategy and execution for IT products and services. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, developing client relationships, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT sales team to ensure high performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to align solutions with client requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with enterprise clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in IT sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, including cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
