Purpose:
Plan, implement, upgrade, configure and/or monitor security measures for the protection of enterprise infrastructure and its information systems and applications. May ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital infrastructure.
Core Functions:
- Demonstrated experience with DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)
- Demonstrated experience with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards and guidelines. Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Understanding of computers, networks, and Cybersecurity
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and people from other organizations
- Ability to capture meeting minutes accurately and timely
- Ability to coordinate meetings, drive meetings as the facilitator, and coordinate action items through completion
- Review, track, and coordinate TASKERS (Task Orders, Fragmentary Orders, and modifications) from a release by the agency through completion.
- Ability to create monthly status reports, weekly reports
- Correlate and collect metrics for inclusion in various reports
Education/Qualifications:
- Current/Active Security Clearance Required
- Certifications: Security + CE, Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
- Meets the IAM Level I position requirements per DoD 8570.0-M
- Fifteen (15) years of demonstrated technical experience in three of the following areas:
- Systems Requirements, project management and strategic planning, HIPAA requirements, Medical Systems, DoD Medical, Operational Requirements, Enterprise Strategic Planning, Unix/Linux system software, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
- Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in one or more of the following areas:
- Medical systems; advanced system architecture; cybersecurity; hardware technologies; digital/analog communications technologies; applied physics; human factors engineering; computer simulation; electronic sensor technologies; and ERP.
- Additionally, experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Ability to plan and organize work and interact with technical and non-technical personnel translating user requirements into responsive applications.
- Demonstrated detailed knowledge of IA concepts and requirements.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge DOD military specifications and standards.
- System design integration planning for multiple large-scale installations.
- Hardware and software Evaluation
- System Test and Evaluation, planning execution and/or management.
- System requirements planning and oversight.
- Understanding of FISMA and HIPAA IA requirements.
- Services Oriented Architecture design and development
- Familiarity/Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint lists, library, and administrative functionality
