Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Regional Sales Director (RSD) for Central USA that will develop the business defined by a set territory and target accounts, with a mix of existing customers and new logos.
This role reports to Director of the Sales for the Region.
Responsibilities
- Exceed sales targets relative to assigned quota on a consistent basis.
- Provide on-going and accurate visibility / status of pipeline and forecast.
- Develop and work opportunities from inception to a closure.
- Coordinate all resources (internal, customer, partner) and activities necessary for an effective and efficient enterprise software solution sales process.
- For the large accounts, develop plans to: drive account / opportunity development, penetrate or expand accounts, differentiate, develop relationships and grow and close deals.
- Work closely with existing customers to be their advocate in Skybox for additional needs, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring smooth and on-time renewals of subscriptions and services.
- Collaborate with our channel account managers and channel partners to develop and maximize future joint opportunities.
- Collaborate with our marketing team on sales campaigns.
Desired Skills And Experience
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software solution with 3+ years in cybersecurity.
- 5+ years of experience working with large accounts and selling 7 figure deals.
- Familiar with SaaS and Subscription delivery models, is preferred.
- Understanding of the cybersecurity selling cycle.
- Experience putting together comprehensive account planning.
- Track record of success in overachieving sales quotas.
- Proven and consistent hunting skills (both initial penetration and cross-selling)
- Comfortable in presenting a complex, technical proposition at an executive, corporate overview level, running first meetings with customers without a sales engineer.
- Strong relationships in territory with customers as well as the partner and vendor ecosystem.
- Great presentation skills (oral and written) for communication of complex solutions, business benefits.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Savvy in using CRM and quoting tools (Skybox is using salesforce.com)
- High integrity and great work ethics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical domain is preferred.
- Travel as necessary.
