Role Overview:
In this hybrid sales and marketing role you will be counted on to introduce prospects to Ammolite and partner with them to find solutions to their unique challenges and goals. It is expected that time will be split roughly equal between sales and marketing efforts.
Marketing Focus: We are looking for a creative and engaging team member that will help spread our message. We believe that technology can empower businesses and teams to achieve amazing things. This role will be critical in helping us tell our story. You will be responsible for understanding and harnessing third party marketing tools in our portfolio in addition to recommending internal marketing efforts. You will lead internal marketing efforts such as exploring the creation of podcasts, webinars, and other marketing channels to raise awareness. As a creative thinker you will be counted on to suggest campaign ideas and develop content from idea to execution. You will also be responsible for researching, configuring, testing and reporting on marketing campaigns.
Sales Focus: Generating awareness in our organization is critical but how we treat our prospects throughout our sales process is key to our success. Working with your Ammolite colleagues you will help schedule prospect and client meetings, prepare sales proposals, and leverage your problem-solving skills to find solutions to client tech and business problems. You will also be heavily relied upon to leverage our rich application stack to harvest client data points that can aid in putting business presentations together with the Ammolite sales team.
Responsibilities:
Marketing
• Play a pivotal role in shaping our short- and long-term digital marketing strategy.
• Create digital marketing plans to support our organization’s growth areas.
• Lead efforts to understand and effectively leverage third party & vendor marketing platforms. Curate third party marketing content and launch via our marketing channels.
• Explore and create new multi-channeled marketing mediums (podcasts, webinars etc.)
• Assist in the creation of content for our website.
• Responsible for researching topics and developing content for our blog, whitepapers, infographics, case studies, videos, and sales enablement material.
• Work closely with internal and external teams to publish content across our marketing platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create and carry out marketing activities and review marketing analytics for continuous improvement and optimization areas.
Sales
• Identify potential target markets and build and refine prospect lists.
• Leverage Sales and Marketing tools to communicate with prospects and book meetings for our sales team.
• Assist with the preparation of customized service proposals and hardware/software quotes.
• Field incoming client requests for information and quotes and collaborate with Ammolite colleagues to provide guidance to our clients.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and distribution partners to place and track orders etc.
• Craft client reporting and assist the sales team design and deliver account-based reviews with clients.
• Assist with inventory receipt and documentation and fulfilling client orders (shipping/receiving).
Desired Qualifications:
• Post Secondary Education in a related field (Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing etc.).
• 0-3 years of experience in a marketing role.
• 0-3 years of experience in a sales coordinator or related role.
• Outstanding communication and creative skills
• Ability to deliver B2B content effectively and tell stories through content pieces.
• Strong understanding of content marketing best practices and methodologies.
• Understanding of current and emerging trends in technology (cybersecurity, cloud computing, collaboration & productivity and digital).
• Strong relationship building skills where you can quickly connect with prospects, clients, partners and other stakeholders.
• Advanced organizational skills to arrange multiple content pieces and projects at the same time.
Nice to Haves:
• Ability to do graphic design would also be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with Sharpspring/Constant Contact (Marketing Automation tool) considered nice to have.
• Experience with Salesforce a bonus but not required.
• Experience with technology marketing would be considered an asset.
• Experience with Apollo.io, LinkedIn advertising platform or similar solutions would be a bonus.
