Duties & Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, the network engineer is the organization's technical lead for the office networking stacks, and the organization's edge security
- Support the initial design and stand-up of the organization's Fortinet edge, switching, and wireless layers
- Oversee the day-to-day technical management of the networking environment
- May from time to time also act as a backup to the security team and the cloud engineering team
Required Skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Experience of Networking including TCP/IP, Switching, VLAN’s, Routing & Wireless
- Design, Configuration, & Administration of Complex Multi-Site Networks including MPLS, Internet, Routing Protocols (Static, RIP, BGP, EIGRP)
- Design, Configuration, & Administration of Fortinet, Cisco or Meraki Networking Stacks
- Design, Configuration, & Administration of Fortinet Centralized Management Systems
- Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems, Content Filtering, and SIEM platforms
- Configuration, & Administration of Basic Network Access Control Solutions like 802.1x, RADIUS, etc.
- Microsoft Azure Network Services

- Windows Server Operating Systems thru 2022
- Azure Virtual Desktop & RDS Farm
- Configuration, & Administration of Office 365
- Configuration & Administration of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical field
Experience
5 to 10 years in Infrastructure and Network Engineering
2-5 Years in Microsoft Azure (ideally in PaaS Environments)
Healthcare or other highly regulated data industry experience is a plus
