The role of Solution Sales is to provide a seasoned, well-founded approach to identifying where our clients are on their cyber security journey and how to tailor the Verve team and its various offerings to help develop successful and long-term partnerships with clients. Ability to navigate our clients' sometimes complex and multi-discipline/multi-department decision process is a key component for any successful candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The Cyber Security Solution Sales role is responsible for the identification and cultivation of net new customers for Verve. Key responsibilities include:
- Penetration of specified geographical region to identify and drive sales of Verve Industrial Protection products and services
- Ability to map and navigate multiple layers of target organizations from plant level to the C suite
- Helping to educate the client on a multi-phase, multi-function overall security program
- Targeting and penetrating at the customer specific level for OT security initiatives
- Identification, cultivation and formalization of relationships with key partners and 3rd parties involved in the advising on, and selling of cyber security solutions
- Generate leads by attending and supporting local seminars, networking at industry events and through his/her existing professional network
- Follow up on incoming leads, schedule and present in remote or onsite meetings
- Ability to identify and position unique Verve software and/or services offerings that align with current customer needs in support of developing a partnership
- Follow up continuously on all potential sales processes to advance them towards closing
- Perform weekly meetings with VP of Solutions (Sales Manager) to assess the status of all existing accounts, and to expedite the rollout and up-sale/cross-sale processes
- Schedule remote or onsite product evaluations performed by the territory Sales Engineer
Required Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and execute a multi-phased, multi-discipline sales pursuit
- Experience in identifying and securing relative content (data, personnel, case studies, references) that align with client needs
- Track record of cultivating net new customers into multi-project, multi-year partners
- Demonstrable network of pertinent security and operational prospective customers
- Associates or Bachelors degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or similar field
- Track record of success in identifying, cultivating and closing $100k+ deals
- Ability to conduct executive level presentations and ‘issue oriented’ educational seminars
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, navigate and motivate the range of internal and external influencers in enterprises to select and implement information security solutions
- Knowledge of Industrial Control System (ICS) Security and/or security programs/guidelines preferred (ie, NIST CSF, NERC CIP, CSC20, etc)
- 30-40% travel
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5 years’ experience selling OT security software and services into Operational entities
