Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's computer systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats. This role involves monitoring security incidents, analyzing vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures to safeguard sensitive information. The Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats using SIEM tools.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
Implement and manage security measures across various platforms, including Google Cloud Platform and PaaS environments.
Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of Linux servers and network devices.
Respond to security incidents by investigating breaches, conducting forensic analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
Provide recommendations for improving network security protocols, including LAN configurations and SOAP services.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.

Skills

Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code management.
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and their security configurations.
Experience with SIEM tools for monitoring and analyzing security events.
Knowledge of network monitoring techniques to identify potential vulnerabilities.
Ability to vaticinate potential cyber threats based on current trends and data analysis.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services and PaaS solutions for secure application deployment.
Understanding of LAN architecture and best practices for securing local networks.
Knowledge of SOAP protocols in relation to web services security.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
